Premier League approves measure to end tactical goalkeeper injuries

Last November, after Manchester City's 3-2 victory over Leeds, Daniel Farke accused Gianluigi Donnarumma of faking an injury to "bend the rules" and buy time for his team. Eight months later, English football could see another change to its rules after the highest national authorities decided to test a measure aimed at putting an end to these “fake injuries” of goalkeepers and the time-outs that accompany them.
